(As you continue to dive into the information throughout this travel blog on Italy you will find LINKS, as in the examples above on this home page. These particular links will allow you to navigate to other posts on that subject within Italy Just For You. On other pages where we are discussing a certain location, say, Florence, you will run across LINKS that will introduce you to the cities’ hotels, tours of museums or food tours, etc. When you click on these links it will take you to a tour / hotel that you can schedule if it meets your needs. We include these LINKS so you do not have to do further research and can get the info and schedule directly from our post. Be informed that in providing you with this feature, if you do purchase a ‘tour’, as an example, from the LINK, we receive a small monetary benefit. This is no way increases your cost.)

How do you tailor your Italy trip just for you?  One of the biggest decisions you will make is where you will go, what destinations to focus on. The major cities? The countryside? The north and its ski slopes?  The south and its beaches?  Your time will probably be limited, and possibly your money as well, so where do you want to go?

Destination Suggestions:  See the major cities of Rome, Venice, and Florence if you haven’t been to Italy before.

Be sure to schedule guided tours of the big attractions, especially the Vatican and the Colosseum.  BUT don’t leave Italy without a view of the countryside.

For me, Tuscany is my all-time favorite destination in the whole world and leaving there, I always long to return.  It’s something about the cypress trees and the golden farmhouses that sings to my soul.  Hilltowns hold a magic all their own, each one unique, each one with friendly and welcoming people, each one with unbelievable Italian cuisine.

Take a look through our Destinations pages to help you decide.
